Christiane Kosger,
Vice President
I was born in the French Alps in a
family with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. I worked in Geneva,
Switzerland as a beautician, got married and divorced. In June 1977
I came to visit California and traveled all over the State with a
girlfriend. I went to school to learn more English and ended up
staying in L.A., working in Beverly Hills.
When I lived in France, I used to
ski in the Alps, and while here in L.A., I really missed the
mountains. I joined the Single Ski Club and met Sigrid. We raced
for the ski club and had lots of fun snow skiing, water skiing,
bowling, and doing lots of other sports.
In 1987, 10 years later, during a
trip to France, one of my sisters convinced me to stay in our home
town of Albertville, where the Olympics were going to be held.
Since I always loved music, I decided to open a piano bar, but I
actually sold it before the Olympics even started! Then I moved to
the South of France, and later back to Geneva, Switzerland to work
for Nina Ricci.
Another 10 years later, I was
missing the beautiful weather of California so much, that I decided
to start my life all over again. I quit my job in Geneva and
returned to L.A. in 1997. Soon thereafter I became a Buddhist,
joined The Unrecables, found the man of my life, got married in
2002, and became an American citizen in 2008!
I have a lot of hobbies besides
working with The Unrecables. I like to sculpt and paint, exercise,
bike, and do all sorts of other sports. My big reward is skiing
with the beautiful people in The Unrecables. They're like a second
family to me, full of warmth and compassion, and FUN!
Thank you for all your help and
kindness and support. |
