Winter Trips Director
This is my 8th year
with The Unrecables. I started not knowing anything about adaptive
skiing and am now the Winter Trips Director and an instructor
candidate with a lot experience behind me. I even met my husband on
my first trip. PJ had the choice of Hawaii or Mammoth and he chose
Mammoth that weekend. What luck for the both of us. We just brought
our twin boys, Dane and Colton, home from the hospital in early
October.
We live in San Diego
and enjoy all the new friends we have met through the club who live
in San Diego, Orange County, and L.A. County. On and off the slopes,
we have found everyone to be very friendly and social.
I am by trade a
teacher. I have taught kindergarten, kayaking, canoeing, high school
swimming and volleyball, map and compass, and basic water safety.
My favorite
activities are bocce ball at the beach or park, cycling, camping,
hiking, collecting vinyl records, and now changing diapers! |
